Summary
Alfred Pennyworth has made plenty of bubble baths in his lifetime and was quite good at them, if he did say so himself. He knew how to curate them for each bat member of the family starting with Bruce when he was a baby who liked his baths with little bubbles and apple scented soap, while Dick preferred the tub overflowing with bubbles and with as much toys he could cram in the tub with him to keep him company, Jason on the other hand required an oatmeal bath to help soothe his dry and itchy skin from being neglected while living on the streets and Alfred made sure to always wrap him up in a warm fluffy towel afterwards, and lastly Tim wanted his bath water to be a different color each time using bath bombs, plus one Robin rubber duck in Jason’s uniform, and the occasional glitter that was painful to get out of the tub, but very worth the happy smiles each boy gave Alfred during bath time.

It only takes Bruce a moment to find his voice again, and then he sighs as well, rubbing his forehead with his fingers. “Clark and I are just friends, Damian.”
“Why?” Damian asks suspiciously, eyeing him like Bruce is trying to hide something. “You don’t find him attractive enough? Strong enough? Intelligent enough? The only flaws I can think of are his insufferable optimism and the way he wears that godforsaken suit, and neither of those is enough of an excuse, Father, really. You have no other viable reason for not having asked him out, correct?”
(Or, Bruce had long accepted that his feelings for Clark would remain forever platonic. But sometimes, all it takes is a small push to change everything.
