Heat suppressant suppliers are being murdered by a mysterious mob boss, Omegas living on the street are being hunted. When John goes missing Sherlock will stop at nothing to get his Omega back. John swore if he was ever taken that he would rather die before being sold into the sex trade. Will Sherlock find him in time?

(Sherlock is frankly surprised that Lestrade himself has never kissed a man, given his inordinate interest in Mycroft, of all people. Oh, God. Not a mental image he needed. He shudders. Delete.)
Take that, Lestrade. He hasn’t drunk and neither has-
“Fuck you, Greg,” John laughs, ruddy-cheeked. He drinks.
The ensuing beat of silence is the longest Sherlock has ever felt.

Summary
It may be more of the good doctor’s purview, but Sherlock Holmes can appreciate the odd rare medical curiosity. The roses filling his lungs are certainly curious. It’s unfortunate that he won’t live long enough to learn much.
Watson, he thinks, will be fine.
