Hizashi bent down, leather pants creaking with the movement. The first thing he registered was small and the second was cute. It was mostly black, with an ice-white face. Its fur was thick and fluffy, slightly matted in a few places from neglect. A pair of coal black eyes stared up at him. If Hizashi squinted just right, it looked a little like Shota.
Meow.
Resigned, he scooped the kitten up.
(Otherwise known as: Hizashi adopts a kitten and Shota uses that to seduce him, Shota-style.)

Summary
The box emptied quicker than he expected, but then again, Shouta was rather particular about what he considered worth keeping. He was scraping the bottom of it when he bumped into the last item. It was a black book with a plain cover. Hizashi had never seen it before. He flipped to the first page with curiosity. That was harmless enough right?
Opening the cover, Hizashi felt the air rush from his lungs as if it had been wrung out of him. The first page was a simple blue with photos glued to it and something written next to each one. He flipped to the next page and the next, only to find more of the same. It wasn’t just a book, but rather a scrapbook with pictures arranged painstakingly on a page and Shouta’s neat handwriting next to it filled the pages.

Even if they couldn’t, it was obvious to everyone else around them to see why they both were there. While Shouta’s eyes rested on the kitten in his lap, gazing fondly at her while she made herself comfortable, Hizashi’s were firmly fixed onto his friend’s face, drinking in the sight of pure joy the kitten had brought him. He could feel the tender smile wedged on his face. It was a smile he knew well, one he always felt like wearing around his best friend.
