Summary
Five years after the events of The Last Dance, Eddie Brock has his life together.
Sure, he's still grieving the loss of Venom, has no social life, and working for a tabloid that he hates, but he has his life. He has a future.
And for the past week he's been having disturbing dreams about Knull and hearing whispers about a new king in black.
With the Imperium watching him, a conspiracy theorist desperate to get him to talk about the secrets he's been keeping, and revelations stacking up one after the other, Eddie dives headfirst into something best left alone, because it has no intention of leaving him alone with or without his symbiote.
And all the while, he has to wonder: is Venom really gone for good?

Summary
Will missed Mike, deeply. He knew Mike was straight, and probably had better things to do during his winter break, but he was hoping he’d at least want to have dinner with the rest of the party… or something.
Will turned to look at his nightstand, where there was a framed photo of him, Dustin, Lucas, and Mike from graduation. They all looked so happy. Will and Mike hadn’t spoken since then, but he called Lucas and Dustin from his dorm sometimes.
The last three winter breaks he had been home, Mike was visiting his new girlfriend in Michigan. Will didn’t really care, but something still tingled at the back of his head when he thought about it. Mike with someone else. Not that Mike had ever even been with him, but still, he thought the signals were kind of there. To the point where he even asked Robin about it. But, alas, Mike was still straight, and Will was still yearning to see his best friend this break.

Will and Mike meet up at the Christmas function and talk for the first time in years.
