Summary
After Hell and Heaven were saved from Vox’s plan to become a god, he was left to face the consequences of his actions. He’s bitter, powerless, and sinking deeper into a dark depression, leading to a devastating event in the Vee Tower, shaking those closest to him to their core and setting off a chain of events that forces everyone, including Vox, to change in ways they least expected. Somehow, Angel is pulled into the mix.
Meanwhile, while trying to get Angel back to his friends, Emily finds herself faced with an emotionally dreadful situation involving the sinner who not only wounded her and took hundreds of lives, but is the reason Charlie believes there might be unredeemable monsters in Hell.

Just for this, he says. As though it’s trivial. As though it isn’t everything that Vox has dreamt of every night for the past several decades. As though the rejection doesn’t sting just as sharply every time he wakes up and reaches to the other side of a cold bed, hands searching for a lover that will never be there, and hears callous laughter echoing in the back of his skull.
Vox sucks in a shaky breath, closing his eyes. He tilts his face downward, unable to look at Alastor when he admits it. He almost can’t bring himself to, sure that Alastor is already certain of the answer.
”Yes,” he whispers.
”You can’t be serious,” Alastor says quietly.

Summary
Every Tuesday they play, every Friday they date, every other Wednesday they have lunch, and occasionally on Saturday Alastor spends the night again. That’s the deal and Vox doesn’t mind a schedule as long as his sexual needs are met. Alastor thrives in a controlled environment and the freedom to do as he pleases. Two vastly different overlords have found that it’s nice to have a piece of cake on occasion. Especially when there is no pressure to take a bite. Either way strings are securely anchored in a structured relationship that suits them just fine.

Summary
Everyone in hell knew that once you made a deal with the radio demon there was no changing the terms of the agreement. You were on his leash and Vox loved being on that metaphorical leash. He salivated at the chance to bow at Alastor’s feet. That’s why after his initial rage he’d asked to restart their agreement from seven years ago. A monthly meeting to indulge in no strings attached sexual roleplay. Alastor’s desire for power and entertainment were met and Vox’s sexual desires satisfied. Simple right?

Summary
Many people (well everyone besides Velette) believed Vox was a workaholic. This wasn’t true. The TV demon was indeed a diligent worker but he wasn’t an idiot. If he could get someone else to do it he would. This is what made him a successful overlord. However, these privileges were somewhat hollow when he had no one to spend his money on. He missed being a breadwinner. He missed coming home to a clean house and being greeted by a freshly poured martini.
Maybe the overlord was pushing his luck by asking specifically for Alastor to fill this need. In a way it was out of the boundaries of their initial agreement.

Summary
Many people were under the impression that Vox enjoyed being in charge. This was false and both Valentino and Alastor were very well acquainted with Vox’s more submissive tendencies. Vox’s desire to be under someone’s foot was best satisfies by Alastor, he just had something Valentino didn’t. Seven year absence be damned, after his initial rage Vox had contacted the radio demon to see if they could restart their little agreement. He’d been pleasantly surprised when the redhead had agreed.
So now every month on a Tuesday the two set the stage for an entertaining evening.

Summary
Many people thought Alastor never got aroused. In a way that was true, as he didn’t respond like most people. However, watching things collapse and fall apart after so much work had gone into it, was especially arousing for the Radio demon. Watching how desperate and pleading people got in the hopes of fixing their mistakes. Begging and groveling in the misguided belief that things could be set straight. The look in someone’s eyes when they are crushed by the realization that everything was slipping away from them. The fucking stock market crash of 1929!
Alastor, despite all of his boundaries in the bedroom had a thriving sex life. Perhaps not in the sense that others had, but his partner was never left unsatisfied. His partner was so satisfied in fact that despite their differences and an unexplained seven year absence on Alastor’s part they had a running monthly meetup so they could entertain one another.

Fun in a way he wanted to lasso so it could be ridden away into a beautiful future like one of Blitz’s horses. Fun in a way that could be shared forever and ever, a wondrous eternity.
He plucked up one of the condoms and rolled it around in his fingers, talons tracing the colors as it crinkled, and the needle-sharp edge slipped right through with a pop only he could hear as he dropped his hand to hide behind a wrinkle in the bedsheets. Through the plastic, through the latex, dragging just enough.
There was nothing wrong with tempting fate a touch, not when it was offering itself up on so enticing a platter.

She pushes an old shirt to the side and softly hoots in surprise at what she has found.
An old film camera.
Via blinks in astonishment and carefully lifts it out of the box. The heavy weight is expected but it still manages to surprise her somehow. This is a really old model, vintage even! Via has never seen one like this in person, only ever in magazines or in old movies.
For a moment her heart drops because at a closer glance the camera looks broken. It's dirty and banged up and there are some weird markings all over the body. In some places the plastic looks almost like it has… melted?
She turns it in her hands and runs a finger over the lid of the film compartment. What looked like ordinary scratches are actually letters, deliberately carved into the surface, faded and barely legible.
