The blonde was standing now, dusting off her jeans, adjusting the sleeves of her baby blue sweater before reaching for her fallen bicycle. She had a case on her back, some kind of instrument, large and well-worn, strapped securely in place.
She placed her bike upright, pushing down the gear to keep it standing, then reached up and removed her helmet.The world tilted.
Wednesday’s breath caught, something sharp catching in her throat.
Because the moment that helmet came off, she saw her.
Saw her face.
And it was impossible.Small features, bright, wide set blue eyes, long full lashes, a delicate little nose, soft, rosy lips, rosy cheeks
And that gaze.That warmth, that unshakable light that seemed to exist in direct defiance of everything dark in the world.
Enid. No. Not Enid.
It couldn’t be.Enid Sinclair had been gone for eleven years.

Summary
With Wednesday kidnapped by Marilyn Thornhill - now revealed to be Laurel Gates - and Principal Weems is dead, Enid is forced to fight Tyler to save Wednesday’s life. They’re both safe and alive, but are now both badly wounded from the chaotic night and are in need of medical attention.
Chapter 1 focuses on Episode 8 itself, but every chapter afterwards will be in the time skip that takes place just after their hug.

She forgot for a second that she was a coward when it came to her heart’s desire and it was a lapse that she might never forgive herself for.
“Show me,” Wednesday said. Enid stared at her for a second, not comprehending what she was saying.
“What?” Enid asked, certain Wednesday couldn’t have meant what it sounded like.
“Show me what all the fuss is about,” Wednesday clarified.
