Words were clumsy, stupid things. He was never good at them, not like Tanjirou, who could spin pretty phrases that sometimes made Inosuke feel warm and fuzzy. But this? This language - his body pressed against Tanjirou’s, heat merging through thin cloth, the raw, unspoken need humming between them - this he understood. This was how he could show Tanjirou, truly show him, how much he was wanted, how every fibre of him yearned to be one with him, to possess him and to belong to him, completely and utterly.
