It was part of the mission, so it was okay. He had an excuse. That made it okay for it to be nice, because he could play it off. "Come on Lupin, I'm not your friggin' husband carrying you down the aisle." Or something like that. The point was, he didn't have to say no to it. He could just… allow opportunities to present themselves.

Summary
Zenigata rolled, his form apparently twisting as the man rearranged himself in his sleep. A grunt escapes the man as Lupin watches a large, black appendage spring out of the blankets. Stretching outward before laying itself on top of the comforter.
Lupin found himself frozen in place, transfixed in the dim light of the city outside.
Because, right there in front of him, attached to Zenigata, Pops, lay a large wing.
