It's Blue's birthday, and everyone has gifted her alcohol. Blue refuses to host a party, leaving herself, Gansey, Adam, and Ronan to drink the overwhelming amount of alcohol they've been given. The next morning they wake up and discover that Ronan Lynch kissed a lot of people last night.

Summary
It was impossible to pinpoint the exact moment their relationship had become this undefined, ever-shifting nebulous of yearning, but somewhere along the line Adam had brushed Ronan's arm or held his gaze a little too long or done something equally simple and beautiful, and suddenly everything Ronan thought he understood was rendered null and void.
The trouble with the pair of them was that being around Adam made Ronan careful and being around Ronan made Adam reckless, and Ronan loved Adam so much it made him sick and Adam didn't know. This particular combination of traits — coupled with Blue and Gansey's total absorption in one another as of late — was what led to torturous nights like these.
