She conjured a little flame right over her index finger. For a long moment, she watched it dance before lighting the joint. It was certainly more theatrical than simply making it self-ignite. Wandless magic was giving her a satisfying feeling of empowerment. Of freedom.
The weed was to blame: if she hadn’t gone out to smoke, they wouldn’t have ended up kidnapped. The weed was to thank: if they hadn’t been kidnapped, she might as well have stayed a squib.
She closed her eyes and took a long drag. Fifty days ago, when she last smoked, her only aspiration was to kill as many Gaunts as she could before they killed her.
A fucked up Victorian teenage witch deals with problems in her own fucked up manner. No deep philosophy intended, just playing sort of Game of Life with the characters.
Beware of lots of fluff spiced up with gore, drugs, dark magic, and an ever-growing body count.
