Summary
“Yikes, 79%? Sounds like ‘eliminating distractions’ didn’t work well for you,” Ao’nung said, quoting Neteyam’s own words from a few months back at him. His voice was light, but there was something else to it that Neteyam couldn’t quite place.
He frowned as he recalled the exact moment he said those words, glad he was facing away from Ao’nung. “I don’t know what you’re getting at.”
In an instant, the springs of Rotxo’s mattress creaked. The small space of the dorm gave him barely any time to brace himself before he felt the warmth of Ao’nung right behind him, his hands hovering above Neteyam’s waist but not close enough to touch.
Heat pooling in his lower abdomen. Hands gripping his waist. Panting against the crook of his neck. His name falling out of Ao’nung’s mouth like he couldn’t decide whether it’s a blessing or a curse.
“You sure you don’t know?”
OR: Neteyam is horrified to find out that he can’t even avoid his former fuckbuddy when he goes home for summer break. And, maybe, he doesn’t want to.

Summary
"Aonung," his father said, looking at his son with a faraway look, as if the oloeyktan was recalling a fond memory. "When the time comes, you will find the fire in someone's eyes so beautiful, that you will be willing to burn - just to see them glow," his father said, not making sense at all.
A few years later, it shocked the metkayina boy greatly when the first thought he had, as he looked into a stern pair of eyes, was of how breathtaking the shade of gold that he could find there, along with the fire softly crackling behind them.
All he could think about was how he was an idiot.
An idiot for not asking his father what he should do if he ever found someone that he was willing to burn for.
or Aonung wanted Neteyam's eyes to be on him at all times, but he learnt from his father that the best way to grab attention was 'by pissing the 'person of interest' of.

Summary
Lo’ak swatted errant vines and foliage aside as he led Tsireya through the forest. Their voices were too soft for Aonung to detect, even when his ears twitched to listen in. What was he blathering about, anyway? Tsireya didn’t look all that invested.
At least, that was what Aonung told himself for comfort. It helped.
“What are they doing together?” Aonung whispered to Neteyam.
A grin formed on Neteyam’s face. He nudged Aonung. “Should we mess with them?”
Aonung caught Neteyam’s raised hand, armed with a sprig of ferns at the ready. “You don’t want to get caught, do you?”
“Oh. Right.”
Curiosity lent Aonung the courage to lean over the edge of the hammock to inspect closer. Truthfully, he could despise his little sister sometimes—usually when she left her crafting needles sticking point-up in the marui—but he’d never, ever subject her to Lo’ak as punishment. That would be inhumane. And, Eywa forbid, it looked like Lo’ak liked Tsireya.
He was going to put a stop to it.Or: Aonung devises a plan to break Lo’ak and Tsireya apart, only managing to successfully sabotage himself. Luckily for him, Neteyam is there to save him. And vice-versa.

Summary
It was not until Kiri was a toddler, nearly five years of age, that Neytiri had realized another difference between her and other Na’vi children—her teeth were short and dull. At only a few months older than Kiri, Neteyam’s canine teeth were much longer, poking out between his teeth and doing their best to look intimidating whenever he opened his mouth in a playful hiss.
When Neytiri brought it up with Jake, he tilted his head to the side and called out to their daughter, who ran towards them with a bounce in her step. Instantly, he reached out to grab at her with a playful roar, causing their daughter to laugh as she flailed about and hiss at him before running away back towards her siblings. Jake rubbed at his side where Kiri had been able to kick him and nodded his head. “You’re right. I hadn’t even noticed. Her teeth—they’re more human than Na’vi.”
