After being severely injured in battle, werewolf Alpha Kell is placed on bed rest to heal and meets an unusual medic who is put in charge of his recovery.
Mica, the Omega medic has resigned himself to the horrible treatment of the other soldiers, doing anything to keep himself and his newborn son alive. He doesn't have time to deal with Kell's curiosity and doesn't want to entertain the idea of hope.Bookmarked by arevine

Summary
Arthur could never remember the exact moment he fell in love with Merlin. Maybe because he always has been. Or maybe it was such a gradual fall, he didn’t even notice until he’d hit the bottom.
And here he is, Crown Prince of Camelot, pining after his own manservant like a blubbering fool.
The truth is Arthur had been up for half an hour. But he knows by now, if he waits long enough, Merlin will start tugging on his arm, dragging him out of the bed.
It’s stupid. It’s a stupid thing to want. It’s a stupid thing to look forward to each morning. A small, nimble hand around his wrist, pulling him into the cold of the day, and usually, onto the floor.
But Arthur doesn’t get the privilege of touch very often. That’s what it is, isn’t it? A privilege?

Summary
When Merlin is caught trying to help a wrongly convicted man, Arthur claims responsibility and takes the punishment for him. While Merlin struggles to process what Arthur has sacrificed for him, Arthur finds himself having to reconsider his relationship with his father, his kingdom, and the people he has sworn to protect.

The guards took this as their cue, and on Uther’s order Merlin felt his shirt torn from his body with a sound all too much like tearing flesh for comfort. Stood only in his worn brown breeches and weathered boots, he could feel for the first time how fiercely the sun beat down on his bare skin: how exposed he was, with nothing but air between his unprotected back and the whip.
And he was terrified.
It was then that another voice was raised above the crowd: one voice, in all that discontented hush, that dared to ring out above the rest.
“Father! It was me. I ordered him to do it.”
