“Don’t look at me like that,” Izuku pleaded, closing his eyes tight. It wasn’t right for someone like him to have someone as perfect — someone as truly beautiful as Shouto — looking at him as if he was someone special. “Please. Please don’t look at me like that.”
Shouto leaned down to press their foreheads together, hands still warm and gentle and cradling his face softly. “Look at you like what?”
“Like… like you care about me.” He didn’t seem like the type to lead anyone on, and he’d always come off so genuine, but it was a lot to take in, and Izuku still worried that it couldn’t be true.
“Sorry, I like you a lot… so I don’t think I can help that.” Shouto smiled, thumbs ghosting along his cheeks.
Izuku shook his head, choking on a sob. Then he was crushed to Shouto’s chest, swaddled in warm, strong arms, engulfed in a scent so calming and serene that it could only be considered perfection — Shouto.
