“So, what do you think?” He asks.
The words spoken gently against the sensitive skin make Hongjoong shudder, his heart doing a little somersault in his chest. Seonghwa knows damn well what Hongjoong thinks—he just wants to hear him say it. Wants Hongjoong to speak his confidence aloud.
“I think…that you should stop that.” Hongjoong huffs when Seonghwa kisses his foot again, this time at the very top of the bridge.
Seonghwa hums, paying no mind to his boyfriend’s brattiness. “Well, I think you’re beautiful.”
Or; Hongjoong didn't think he wanted to be beautiful until he met someone like him who was.

But after careful exploration, the island isn't as deserted as he first guessed, and it seems he owes his life to something (or rather someone) other than simple good luck.
In fact, he may have just found the greatest treasure of all.

Summary
It's the scent that draws him in. Seonghwa's dreams smell spicy-sweet: cinnamon, chili pepper, honeysuckle, and cloves. His dreams smell like a feast and Hongjoong can't resist.
He's not starving by any means, but he's hungry and he's picky. He can't just just feed off anyone's energy — well, no, he can, he just won't. He doesn't feed often, by choice, so when he does, it needs to be satisfying. And that means his prey has to enjoy their dreams every bit as much as Hongjoong enjoys his meal. So he's found a pattern. The more enticing the scent, the more likely the compatibility. The more compatible, the better the experience.
And this is the best scent he's smelled in ages.
