Heeseung wakes up to a mouth full of sludge.
No, not sludge— water. Water fills the entirety of his esophagus, pouring down his throat with such rage that it almost feels like a thousand little blades weaving their way into the last defense of such tender, pulsating muscle. There’s a song in his ears that roars; a wave crashing overhead.
It takes only a second for his mind to cling to itself, to fall together— synapses exploding, neurons cascading in a waterfall attempting to mimic the sensations brought about by the sloshing in his stomach. His atoms are colliding in a sway-filled dance.
He’s drowning.

Summary
The ice rink is Sunghoon's favorite place in the world, early mornings, quiet ice, and time to chase his figure skating dreams.
When the owners decide to cut three hours of figure skating practice to give to the hockey team, Sunghoon is furious. As the chosen rep for the skaters, he shows up to the meeting ready to hate whoever the hockey side sends.
Enter Lee Heeseung, the charming, annoyingly handsome hockey captain. He's not at all the enemy Sunghoon expected.
Between tense meetings, late-night shared practices, and "accidental" run-ins at cafes and grocery stores, Sunghoon starts to realize that maybe the rink doesn't have to be just his anymore, and that falling for the boy stealing his ice might be the one thing he never saw coming.
