Summary
Matches burn after the other, pages turn and stick to each other. Strangers got born and soon everyone got buried. Everyone moved on, though. Rhaenyra included, or so she thought.
Rhaenyra is a dead woman walking. The last years of her life whittled her down to a fraction of her former self, leaving her as hollow as the ghosts in her past. Stuck in this life, she has no place to go except relentlessly forward; too scared to look back.
She blames the gods for how she's turned out. She falls asleep each night with liquor on her breath and curses at her lips for every last god out there. Though she'll never admit it, she's right where the love of her life left her, even seven years later.
What a strange twist of fate that her long-dead lover's own Gods answer her final prayer once she realized she was still right where Harwin left her?

Until fate points her back to the beginning- throwing her back to the morning after her wedding.
She decides to rebuild and protect, starting with the invisible string tying her and a certain sworn shield that transcended time and space.
Until she learns in order to do that she needs to save the world.
Isn't just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string- even if there are some bumps in the road?

What if a small, almost insignificant, decision more than a decade before his birth created a friendship that changed the fate of Larys Strong? What if the Strong brothers were loyal to each other before anyone else? What if a near-accident caused Harwin Strong and Rhaenyra Targaryen to meet earlier? Most importantly, what if King Viserys started becoming suspicious of Otto Hightower and confided those concerns to his brother, his cousin, and two of his closest councilors?
