Summary
The confession seemed to loosen a knot in Remus, permitting him to stop sanding down the edges of the truth, and he spoke about it more openly.
“The bear was restless.”
“The bear doesn’t like storms.”
“The bear left me a few souvenirs.”
“The bear was really angry last night. He must have heard another animal outside and wanted to play.”
Each time, the others nodded gravely, convinced they were being exceptionally respectful. Sirius privately thought it was brilliant misdirection. If anyone overheard, they’d never suspect a thing. It also had the benefit of keeping the real word out of the room; they could all pretend, for a few seconds at a time, that what Remus carried was simply another unpleasant fact of life, like homework or Slytherins.
In third year, Sirius Black becomes convinced his best friend is a werewolf. In fifth year, he discovers he is actually a bear.
This is not metaphorical.
Featuring three years of catastrophic miscommunication, unnecessary wolf facts, obsessive observation, and one very large, very affectionate surprise under the full moon.

“Jesus,” Daniel said, once his dead heart had stopped racing.
“I don’t care for him,” Armand said. He was tapping away at his iPad. “Tell me. Which word do you think would cause greater offense: vapid or insipid?”
“Insipid,” Daniel said immediately, then, taking a closer look at the screen, “Are you fucking review bombing Lestat’s album?”
“It’s something to do,” Armand sighed.
Daniel just wants to get through The Vampire Lestat's documentary in one piece. The Vampires Lestat, Louis and Armand aren't making it any easier for him.

“So you still wanna fuck him,” Daniel said. “Why are you telling me? Just go for it.”
“I don’t want to fuck him,” Louis said.
“Right, I forgot. You don’t wanna fuck him, you wanna date him – you wanna make sweet tender love to him, and renew your vampiric vows. Maybe this time around, you can be the one putting your fist through some poor priest’s head.”
Lestat discovers the wonders of the internet. Louis discovers that, eighty years later, he's still just as normal about Lestat as he has ever been.

Summary
For the past months, it had seemed inconceivable to Remus that he would ever talk to Sirius again. Now, as he stares at Sirius’ closed eyes and the dried blood on his shirt, something much more inconceivable comes to mind: that he would never talk to Sirius again.
It's not that Remus hasn't forgiven Sirius yet, he just hasn't accepted that he has forgiven Sirius yet.
He just needs a little more time. However, a gruesome Quidditch accident makes it evidently clear that you should never just assume more time will be given.
