    Professor Keating was aware of just how special his connection with his students was. He knew they saw him not only as a teacher but also a mentor, and he tried his best to rise up to the task. He knew he was out of his depth, however, when a pair of his best students confessed to him what they felt for each other.

    This, he was not equipped to handle. He could only keep their secrets and hope.

    His insides twisted at the way Wilbur was still shaking, his chest rising and falling just a bit too fast. At the way Techno’s breaths huffed out of his nose roughly as his entire body stood stiff. At the way anger and worry clouded Phil’s eyes, his fury a suffocating veil of smoke seeping into every bit of Tommy’s subconscious.
    His heart pounded loudly in his ears, vision swimming with visions of raised fists and bottles of whiskey. Chest aching with memories of cigarette smoke, his mother's tongue like a whip in the way that it cut him down to his deepest insecurities.
    He couldn’t breathe, couldn’t see- he was going to die in this house.

    Or;
    Tommy's home life wasn't exactly- uh- pleasant- and after a particularly bad night he runs away to his friends Wilbur's house in the pouring rain. Little does he know this night will be the one to remember, and things will never be the same. Though, maybe thats a good thing.
