His head was pounding. His vision? Blurry. He could hear panicked screams. He doesn't understand.

Why him?
Why did he have to be crushed by the fire truck?
Why did he have to fight to save people during a tsunami while he himself was on blood thinners?
Why did he have to get hit by this truck?
It makes no sense to him. It was always his fault though.
This lawsuit? He started it because he didn't have the patience to wait to get his job back. His fault.
His sister leaving? His fault. He wasn't enough for her.
Loosing Christopher? His fault. He shouldn't have let him go.
It's always going to be his fault. And now he's finally paying the consequences.
But he thinks.
He thinks how he's never going to walk back into his boyfriend's arms and apologise for the whole lawsuit fiasco. How he's never going to be able to hold Christopher as tight as can.
