“Hah?” It was so strange, Midoriya thought, talking to a man that wasn’t there, not knowing where to look when he spoke to him. He gulped.

“Everywhere except the bathrooms,” Bakugou told him straightforward. Oh. Midoriya tried not to get even redder, thinking about the fact that he’d always changed in the bedroom.

Summary
The mech suit is not a collar. A collar comes with all sorts of expectations and promises between a dominant and a submissive; the mech suit is a very expensive present Kacchan and the others gave Izuku to help him live his dream. It has nothing to do with dynamics. It has nothing to do with the looks Kacchan sometimes gives him, with the looks he finds himself constantly giving Kacchan.
Izuku’s instincts are hopelessly fixated on it, though.

“Why does it have to be him?” Katsuki blurts out, because really, that’s what he wants to know. “Of all of the fucking people in the world, why does it have to be him?”
“I was confused about it at first too,” Kirishima admits. He sits up a little straighter. “I mean, you guys fucking hated each other for the longest time. You couldn’t even be in the same room together without getting into an argument or breaking a table.” He laughs a little. Katsuki doesn’t understand how any of this is funny. “Then one day, you guys came into work and… you smelled like him. Everything calmed down after that. It was like all of that hatred and tension was just your way of trying to process your feelings for one another. Once you guys finally, uh, talked it out, things got better.”
(In which Katsuki Bakugou is attacked and loses all recollection of his relationship with Izuku and has to learn to fall in love with him all over again. Faced with a hero case involving a serial killer and missing omegas, Katsuki needs to learn to put aside his own prejudice and open himself up to truth.)
