John Winchester dies with a gun in his hand and Mary’s ring on his finger, and he doesn’t go quiet. He is 51, his son 26 and watching with morbid fascination, entrails strewn across freshly mowed grass, carnage black against the green. The police do not come for his body, because somewhere, the same son buries a box filled with dirt and bones and blood, voice scratchy and eyes wide. John has not seen his youngest in 4 years.

Summary
set during season five, in the thick of the vessel problem, sam and dean run into... sam and dean. then another sam and dean. then ANOTHER sam and dean. each set of winchesters is from a different universe, but they've all been brought together for some mysterious reason that starts with a and ends with pocalypse. now the boys have to work together with their doubles, castiel, and an alternate bobby singer in order to set things right.
