“If I didn’t need these stem credits for requirements, you wouldn’t catch me touching this math with a 10 foot pole,” he had resorted to doodling along the edge of his notebook paper, giving up on the math problem. “Math is already my kryptonite, but man is it about a hundred times worse when I’m trying not to fall asleep”.
“It’s only 1 am, love” Mina said, giving a fake pout, “but since we all seem to be struggling, how about a study break!” She said, clapping her hands together. Sero, Kaminari, and Kirishima all brightened up at the thought of a break, even if it wasn’t a long one, while Bakugou shrugged, seeming indifferent about the matter. He continued typing away on his laptop. “Great! Then it’s decided,” she added on with a wink, standing up to peer outside of their cubicle to see how many people were left studying on their floor. She gave a satisfied smirk upon seeing only a couple stragglers, both conveniently far from them.
“Ah, jeez, what are you planning?”

“I just took a picture, that’s all.” His voice was soft as he flipped through the pictures in his camera roll, adding the recent picture to his album dedicated to pictures of Bakugou.

Inspired by all the “de-aging” fics out there that use time travel to deal with the trauma these kids went through (which I absolutely adore!) Time moves forward, and they can’t change the past, but it’s never too late to start to heal.
