Summary
It's been almost two years since Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov tied the knot. After joining the Ottawa Centaurs and winning their first Stanley Cup as a couple, the hockey phenoms feel unstoppable. That was until a year later when an injury during the Stanley Cup finals causes Ilya to be forced to retire. The couple embark on a new part in their life-- parenthood. However, a mysterious phone call changes their plans.

“Do you know where you are?”
“The hospital. Did I fall on the ice?”
“Something like that. Can you tell me the last thing you remember?”
Shane goes quiet, trying to bring up any clear memory. He gets flashes of things. Hands on his waist, speeding down the ice with a smile on his face, lips trailing down his neck, cheers and screams from the crowd, his parents sitting across from him at their kitchen table, falling asleep listening to the sound of a heart beating.
“Shane?”
“Sorry, I can’t- There’s lots of little pieces. But I can’t think clearly through this headache.”

Shane gets hit. Hard. He doesn't know what year it is, why he's in the hospital, or who the man in the corner with the pretty hair is. His parents are keeping things from him, but this kind stranger (?) starts filling in little details that Shane wishes he remembered.
And then he accidentally sees the video.aka shane gets amnesia and can't remember his husband or his team or really... anything. angst, anxiety, and falling back in love ensue <3

JANE: No…La noche del 28 de febrero de 2017, en el partido que los Metros y los Riders juegan en Montreal, Shane Hollander resulta herido después de un choque muy feo con Marleau. La ambulancia lleva al jugador al hospital, pero, por fortuna, las pruebas médicas no muestran daños graves, salvo una conmoción y una clavícula rota.
Sin embargo, cuando a la mañana siguiente Ilya Rozanov se presenta en el hospital para asegurarse de que todo está bien, ambos descubren horrorizados que, quizás, las secuelas del golpe han sido más graves de lo que pensaban.
Porque Shane no recuerda quién es Ilya.
