Charlie tells himself that the words don’t mean much coming from Knox who says the same words to their neighbor’s dog everytime she licks his legs, and purposely ignores the obvious sincerity in his tone. “Thank you, I needed that laugh.”
“Don’t get sappy on me now, Overstreet.” And almost a beat too late, “I love you, too.”
In which Knox and Charlie struggle to get their shit together while Neil and Todd get married.

Summary
The Dead Poets deal with the aftermath of Neil’s attempt, as Cameron and the administration blame Keating. Meanwhile, Knox is on the rebound, Charlie is pining, Neil and Todd are being oblivious and everyone’s favourite nerds are trying to get both couples together.
This fic mainly centres on Anderperry and Knarlie but I won’t forget the other poets! McKeating and Chris x Ginny are briefly mentioned too!
Frequent strong language is used, and there are mentions of suicide/self harm but I’ll try to make these parts skippable. It’s no worse than what you saw in the movie anyway<3

Summary
“I think that this is the most entertainment I’ve had since watching Neil and Todd dance around each other freshman year,” Pitts says, smirking from where he is leaning up against the doorway into their shared living room. “I don’t even think I remember the last time you showed this much interest in someone.”
“You know, Charlie, this whole process would have been a hell of a lot easier if you - I don’t know- had gotten this guy's name while you were talking to him?” Cameron chimes in far too casually from where he is stationed at the kitchen table.
Charlie sends Cameron a withering glare."God, I hate you.”

On the last weekend of his junior year of college, Charlie Dalton runs into the man of his dreams at a party. He checks all of Charlie’s boxes: he’s cute, tall, awkwardly charming, and has an amazing sense of humor. The only problem?

Summary
Charlie has never shown him any of this. Never said any of this.
But he’d written it. Quietly, fiercely, in his own private language.
Knox looked over at the hospital bed again at Charlie, breathing, silent, asleep.
You loved me, Knox thought. You were finally ready to tell me.
And then you forgot.

Summary
“I arranged for us—the four of us, you, me, Ginny, Chris—to go on a double date.”
And then he set down his coffee cup, folded his arms, and kicked back in his chair, to proudly await his applause. Which, in part because Knox’s hands were busy, and in part because Knox was catatonic with shock, never came. In fact, of all the words Charlie expected Knox to respond with, they certainly weren’t—
“You’re going on a date with Ginny?”
“Yep! And you’re going on one with Chris!” He meshed his fingers together. “At the same time. It’s a double date—"
“So you’re going on a date with Ginny.”
Alternatively;
Charlie arranges a double date for his best friend and the girl of said best friend's dreams. One small problem—he may have forgotten to specify who's going with who.
