She's had time. The Zephyr, brilliantly designed to be space worthy, is still only capable of sub-light speeds. She's had time to mourn, truly mourn, for all the moments they lost; for her rescue and their proposals and the look in his eyes at their wedding. But she's also had time to think about the things she didn't know when he slipped Deke's ring on her finger, about the secret shame he had been hiding within. This time, it would be different. This time, he would have his kilt and all the help and support he could possibly need.

He observes their small room, looking for clues, but she only sighs.
"I don't know. I remember being in the diner with the team, and then . . ."
Fitz narrows his gaze at her. "Yeah, we were going to order pie, and we got arrested."
She nods. "I don't know what happened after that. I've spent the last hour trying to triangulate our location." When he looks at her with a silent question, she nods towards the window. Fitz follows her gaze to find a field of stars.
"We're in space," she says.

She can’t help but swallow when they bring him in. There’s a bag over his head, but she’d know him anywhere. She wrings her hands and prepares herself for the man Daisy’s been telling her about, the one with the dead, wandering eyes. When they pull the bag off his head, however, all she can see is the blood.
It trickles down from his temple to his chin, and she’s closed the space between them before she can remind herself that he’s dangerous. A protective hand falls on her arm, but she shrugs the agent away.
“He needs medical attention,” she says. “I can take it from here. Tell the director he can find us here if he needs us.”
