How could that be? Why is he here, of all people? What a problem this has turned into. See, if it was nearly anybody else he would be dying here. If it were Ron or even Blaise, they would have to go call a teacher, then the teacher wouldn’t make it in time, and he would be dead on the cold, hard floor of Hogwarts. It’d be easy enough to just die right here, right now, IF anybody else had found him. He isn’t dying here, not today at least.”

It's a pretty unrealistic conclusion, all things considered. But he didn't know how else to explain it.
Shuichi is stuck in a time loop.
Forced to relive the same night over and over... that cruel night where someone dies in that hydraulic press. Shuichi's confident that if he can stop these events from playing out- if he can save that someone's life- then time would progress normally once again. He just... has to figure out how to do that.

Tbh I was just searching for a ftm Shuichi fic and I found this instead which has breadcrumbs of it ofc but omg I am nawt complaining this was absolutely not what I was expecting when I started this fic holy shit this is amazing.
ok I can NOT rant abt this rn bc it’s 2am and I have somewhere to be in a few hours RIP FUTURE ME! Honestly kinda healed my own relationship as I’ve done a few suicide attempts. I guess I got to live. 0w0

Summary
As usual summer before third year is really hard…
After an unfortunate incident with Aunt Marge, Harry finds himself staying with Snape and his live-in boyfriend of 12 years.
Only, Snape is just as awful as ever and his boyfriend is really cool and nice and makes Harry feel important… but as time goes on, it’s clear that all is not as it seems. Because Snape is actually… well, he’s not a decent guy, but he does care about protecting children from abuse, apparently.
But his boyfriend… It turns out that not all guys who seem good end up being good in the end. As he watches his professor’s relationship dissolve he can’t help feeling like an awful person for being an active participant in it.
It never once crosses his mind that Harry was being groomed and abused in a grossly different way than he was used to.

Not only do old secrets get revealed, but Professor Snape’s boyfriend takes advantage of Harry while he’s staying there for the summer leading to shifts in perspective and possibly… healing?
