The wolf’s head whipped around so fast, Stiles felt like he was watching The Exorcist.
Stiles wondered if he could just stand still enough to make the wolf think he was a tree. A very bright red and jean-clad tree. He doubted it, but one could hope.
He knew it was a lost cause when the wolf turned fully, lips pulled back from its sharp teeth—so very sharp, good fucking Lord!—and began walking towards Stiles.
“I didn’t see anything!” Stiles shouted, both hands out in front of himself and sweat instantly breaking out across his skin. “I swear to you! I didn’t see anything! I didn’t see anything! I won’t tell anyone! I won’t! I’ll keep this to myself, until the day I die! I promise! I promise!”

To make it easier to find this the next time I want to re-read it, here's the text I sent K about it (spoilers!)
A long story boiled down: Stiles discovers werewolves by seeing someone change to wolf form, but couldn't see who it was. After Stiles stops thinking the werewolf is going to kill him for discovering the secret, wolf-shaped Derek starts spending a lot of time with Stiles (they go jogging in the woods together, Stiles talks, wolf-shaped Derek makes what replies he can with grunts and such) and then starts bringing him courting gifts. (Stiles freaks out at first, because he thought a dead deer on the front lawn might be a threatening gesture, but after he figures out that it's courting gifts he asks his wolf if he could maybe give him cookies or burgers instead, and Derek starts anonymously sending him meals and such.) After a while of this, human-shaped Derek asks Stiles on a date. Stiles says no, he's seeing someone. Derek is upset until he figures out that Stiles is being faithful to wolf-shaped Derek and doesn't know he's him. :-)

Things don't go according to plan. Peter wanted to see Stiles as a wolf, but not like this. Not forced into it by the Dread Doctors.
Yet Peter was right; Stiles was absolutely magnificent.
