The sight makes him smile so wide that his cheeks hurt. Tommy's so focused on his little friend that he doesn't even notice Buck is there; the little girl looks delighted, laughing so much as Tommy runs after her, pretending he's struggling to catch her.

The lawn looks perfect now so he decides to make a beeline for the kitchen and grab the pitcher of lemonade he made in the morning. He retrieves two glasses from the cabinet and joins Tommy outside, appreciating the sight for a few seconds.

They're just outside of a small neighborood, in a little town nestled in the San Bernardino mountains. The nature all around them is stunning, giving the place a cozy and romantic athmosphere.

Tommy had seemed happy with the way their dynamic was progressing, and it’s not like he’d never bottomed again during their relationship. He’d done it all the time: bent over the kitchen island, up against the shower wall, on his hands and knees on the bed or the couch or the floor. Buck had fucked Tommy like that and never thought about it beyond yes good Tommy yes. Tommy had moaned and pushed back against him, and that same magic that always brewed between them popped and fizzed and bubbled over.
So Buck hadn’t thought about it. From the beginning, he had been struck with the near inability to think much around Tommy at all. Their relationship had been such a fuckdrunk blur of easy pleasure and simple joy that Buck hadn’t been able to see that Tommy had been avoiding receiving the intimacy that he gave to Buck.
That changes after they get back together.

Summary
Buck decides to try his hand at making Tommy's mother's tomato sauce for him. It's something he knows Tommy will love if he gets it right—but that’s a big if. He’s not worried that Tommy will be upset at him for trying and failing, but it defeats the purpose of showing Tommy how much he means to Buck if he can’t get something this important to Tommy right.
Buck is all in on this, on Tommy. They haven’t actually been dating long enough for him to feel like he can say that to Tommy yet, but he wants to show him. He wants Tommy to see how good their future together would taste. If Tommy can come home to a fresh batch of the one good part of his childhood, maybe he’ll be more inclined to keep Buck around.
