In front of him—bright and alive—Leo stood up suddenly, clapping his hands together. "Well, the good news is that you've got me now. And I," he grinned, pulling a tape measure from his tool belt, "am basically an expert at turning empty spaces into something awesome. Remember the Argo II?"
"You're going to build me a warship in my living room?"
Leo laughed. "Sure, man. If that’s what you want, I’ll build you a warship.” His grin was crooked. “Nah, I was thinking I could stick around for a bit and make you some furniture." Leo paused, studying Jason's face. "Only if you want, though. No pressure."
Jason looked at the blank walls and empty corners. The place felt more like a waystation than a home.
"I think I’d like that," Jason said slowly. He met Leo's eyes. "You'll help me?"
Leo's smile softened. "Course, Superman.”

Summary

Calypso dumps Leo to go to band camp. Which really takes the cake for one of the lowest moments of his life, considering that his girlfriend would rather learn the clarinet than make their relationship work. Of course, Leo copes by asking Jason if he can move in with him. He's starting to think that was a mistake.

"Leo doesn’t know what he wants. The world isn’t ending anymore and he’s got no idea what to do with himself. He thought he worked things out—he saved the day, got the girl, and made off with his happy ending. But he wasn’t even happy in it. If there was a place for him to be happy, it should have been the Waystation. And he was, kind of. He’ll miss the kids and all the work he was doing with them. But it wasn’t enough. Somehow he managed to screw up his own happily ever after. Or maybe there never was one for him and he’s just destined to be doomed. Maybe he should have just died when he was supposed to. Sometimes it feels like there’s nothing ahead of him and he’s just running on borrowed time."

Jason walks over to Leo, takes the seat next to him. “What are you scared of?” He asks, his voice soft.
Leo’s golden-brown gaze is unreadable, his expression hazy and distant despite their proximity. He looks ghostly. Like a mirage that Jason could reach through, an illusion on the edge of disappearing.
Leo turns away from Jason. He shifts minutely, silencing himself in a cautious way. Like he is a frightened dog and he is approaching himself. “I don’t know,” he lies.

TLDR: Leo gets hit with a spell and starts acting weird and it freaks Jason out and they are in love! For valgrace week day 2: fear
