Summary
In a society where there is a loophole to cheat death itself through stealing the hearts of others, the formation of underground syndicates dedicated to doing exactly that was predetermined. This development had led to a survival of the fitness mentality in citizens, if there was one thing to learn it was to keep your head down and stay out of trouble.
Unfortunately, if Branzy was one thing, it was trouble. He had managed to squirm and worm his way through most bad situations, but this time it seemed pretty hopeless for him to get out of this himself.
On his last legs, bloodied and injured Branzy went to the one place he felt safe in: the lion’s den that was ClownPierce’s Casino.

Summary
“Branzy?”
He felt his stomach drop as a hand snaked around his wrist, spinning him so he was face to face with a grinning porcelain mask with two curved x’s for eyes.

Summary
Nothing on this server could exist peacefully; certainly not with members who held bloodlust as close as their own hearts.
Clownpierce was no different.
...
There was one exception, he supposed. A fragile, rare thing that almost never dared to show its face. It was a simple thing, something that should never bring him down in any world, and yet it did. It did, time and time again, even though he was so painfully aware that if he’d just tried harder and pushed longer, it wouldn’t have been an issue.
Reliance.

Summary
Flame didn’t want to admit it, but something felt off.
Not the usual “I got hit too hard in a fight” off. More like a slow, creeping fog sitting behind his eyes. His head felt hot. His hands felt cold. And every few minutes he had to swallow against the weird scratch in his throat that definitely wasn’t there earlier.
But he refused to say anything because Mane would never let him hear the end of it.
