“Okay! Now that we’re all settled,” Shitty paused to eye Bitty, “Jack and I have an announcement!”
Bitty looked back at Jack, but he only gave a small smile and shrug of his shoulders.
“As you know, Jack and I are fucking finally leaving our fucking 'swawesome Samwell for brighter pastures and all the bullshit that entails. But before we leave for good, we’d like to go out in style! As many of you know, my family is rich as balls, as is Jack, and though he’s already spent his graduation present--”
Bitty shot Jack a bemused look, but he received only a sharp shake of the head in return. Confusedly, Bitty returned his attention to Shitty.
“And so since my uncle owes me a favor, I asked him to bankroll a team camping trip!”
Bitty whisper-shouted,“What?!” but was drowned out by Ransom and Holster’s much more enthusiastic, “DRUNK FOREST SHENANIGANS!”

Jack nodded and made his way to the fridge, exchanging a quick grin with Bitty on the way.
Bitty turned fully, wiping his hands on his apron as he did so, to chirp Jack about whatever he pulled out of the fridge, but before he could speak, he was distracted by the loud choking sounds that had erupted from the table.

Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)
