“I’m glad.” There’s a crinkle at the corner of Potter’s eyes when he smiles, and Draco hates it, as much as he hates the way Potter’s thumb is slowly tracing circles against his palm. There is pink colouring Potter’s cheeks and he hates that, too. “I, err, I suppose this is a good time to tell you that I don’t have exactly innocent intentions in, uhm, being friends with you.”
And it’s like a blow to the chest. Draco laughs, stunned and breathless, and he ducks his head, tries to stop the well of tears from falling.
“Stop. Stop,” he says, voice trembling. “You don’t get to say it first.”
The thumb stops. There is confusion in Potter’s voice. “What?”
Draco grips Potter’s hand back. It feels right, Potter’s hand in his. “Give me a moment,” he says, and it’s almost a plea. He doesn’t want their first kiss to taste like tears. He takes a deep, shaky inhale, and musters the courage. “Give me a moment and then I’ll kiss you.”
A sharp intake of breath. And then an accusatory “…You don’t say that and expect me to wait a moment.”
And Draco laughs again, giddy and warm, and he wipes his eyes with his other hand, the one hit by the hex, and it still hurts, that one, but it’s nothing compared to finally, finally getting this.
“Goddamn, Potter, you really have no patience.”
And he swallows all the hesitation down his throat and pulls Potter down for a kiss.

Alright, so maybe he doesn't anymore, but I don't think he's ready for his ex-rival to snog him senseless so suddenly just yet.
Ginny continued on nonchalantly. "Grab him and shove him in the Potions classroom."
Harry was horrified. Snape's ghost would haunt me until my dying days!
"Slughorn probably wouldn't bat an eyelash."
I don't care about Slughorn, Ginny. Snape! Snape!

“There’s no time!” Draco called out, grabbing his hand and pulling Harry towards the massive turner that would take them (hopefully) back twenty years into the past.
“Forgive us!” Remus called, raising his voice now over the building hum of the time turner, carrying a note of desperation. “He always meant to tell you. But then he was gone and it didn’t seem my place.”
“What–” Harry began, but then the power of the turner coursed through him, through his arm where Draco held him and he felt himself get dragged backwards into the vortex. The last thing he saw before his world went dark was the pleading in Remus’ eyes.
“Forgive us.”
Or: Harry and Draco travel back in time to defeat Voldemort and find that nearly everything they knew about the past (and present) is built on lies.

Believe it or not, you taking over this case is a gift. To me. Five, can we please just get this done so we can both move on with our lives."
"Did you get married or something?"
Harvey throws up his hands in frustration. "Have you forgotten point number two already, Louis?"
"So who is the unlucky lady?"
Okay, time to change tack, Harvey thinks. Clearly the only way to get past this conversation is to have it first. He throws down his paperwork and looks Louis square in the eyes. "No one you know."
