Ducking his head slightly, he peered into Will’s eyes. “So, I get 10 seconds too. Right?”
Will’s breath caught. “What?”
Mike let out a small shrug. He looked down at his hand, tightening it around Will’s wrist before loosening again. “I mean, it’s only fair. You get 10 seconds. I get 10.”
His eyes flicked back up to Will’s. “That okay?”
A breath passed between them. Will felt like his heart was in his throat. “I guess…”Will and Mike have always been a little touchy. Their years of friendship have made them closer than most best friends. But back from California and living in the Wheelers’ home, Will decides to keep a boundary between himself and Mike’s touching for the sake of his own heart.
10 seconds. He’ll keep the touching between them to 10 seconds a day.
It had all been going according to plan until Mike noticed.

Summary
Argyle’s pizza van rattled along the road, the radio playing softly. Will noticed it before anyone said anything — the way Jonathan kept glancing at El in the rearview mirror, the way her jaw was clenched tight, her hands balled into fists in her lap.
El looked angry.
That was new. Especially after a call from Mike.
Before Will could ask what was wrong, she turned sharply toward him.
“He is not coming,” El said, her voice sharp with something between anger and hurt.
“W–what?” Will stammered. “You mean… Mike’s not coming here for spring break?”
El looked away, swallowing. “He has bad grades,” she said quietly. “His mom is very angry.”
“Oh.”

Left alone in California during the events of season 4, Will and Eleven are forced to rely on each other as secrets surface, truths unravel, and love stories change.

Summary
The red lighting flashed again, and Will almost stopped breathing. The light had illuminated a tremendous shadow monster thousands of feet tall, spider-like legs spanning miles. It hovered over Hawkins like a harbinger of death. The light flashed again, and it turned to face Will, looking directly at him. The presence pushed at his mind, looking for a way in.
The light flashed one last time, and then he was staring at his normal backyard. Crickets chirped in the grass, and a gentle cool breeze floated in the air.
Will didn’t know how long he stood there, rooted to the spot.
Eventually, he went back inside.
He didn’t sleep for the rest of the night.
OR
A complete rewrite of all five seasons of Stanger Things from Will's POV. It will be mostly canon compliant until the later two seasons where I am planning on doing some major reworking of the narrative.
In my opinion Will is the main character and deserves a complete story. This is my attempt at it, and I hope you enjoy it.

Summary
NOVEMBER 6TH, 1986
In the three years since Will Byers went missing, the town of Hawkins has been under constant threat of the creatures from the Upside Down. But now, eight months after Vecna has ruptured a giant rift through the town of Hawkins, that threat is about to reemerge. Unaware of Vecna's true plans and trapped under a military quarantine, our heroes will not only be forced to face the greatest evil from the Upside Down, but also overcome impossible odds, in order to save their town, and each other, one last time.
Written in a SCREENPLAY format, this fic operates as a diverging conclusion for the final season of Stranger Things.
