Summary
After two months of hiding it seems the sun is finally returning to normal and the visitors, unable to handle the temperature change, are rapidly dying off. With it being safe to return outside the homeowner’s guests set out to return to their lives. For the first time since the “apocalypse” he finds himself alone and oddly enough the man finds that he no longer enjoys the solitude that he once craved. Eager for something familiar, he decides to open his home to guests again. The homeowner quickly learns to be careful what you wish for when a familiar pale visitor returns, this time as his new roommate.

Summary
With a post-traumatic induced fear of losing his siblings, Fred struggles to control the emotions that push everyone away; especially Sue, who has to constantly deal with Fred's disapproval of her long-term relationship with Captain Bob, a now renowned space explorer, until it reaches a breaking point after he proposes to Sue.
And so, in the wake of family tensions, Fred will try to adapt to his own emotions and discover a new unexpected connection with an old adversary, Old Fingerhead, who unintentionally takes him on a journey see things in a different light.
I should also mention this is technically an AU due to all the headcanons and unofficial lore that I incorporated in how their powers work and such.
