Summary
Kiyan has acquired a lot of knives over the years, some people would say too many. But those people would be wrong, because Kiyan has very good reasons for carrying every single one his knives, and every knife has a tale.
The story of Kiyan, with the unimportant parts (that is to say, the non-knifey parts) skimmed over.
Alternatively titled "The Knife and Crimes of Kiyan of the Cats"

Summary
There is something to be said about crawling out of what should have killed you. Philosophizing aside, the Abyss did not kill Childe, and he gained something beyond Foul Legacy.
Namely, the ability to sense what other things have been tainted by the Abyss. Tainted, misshapen, influenced by, he isn’t too picky on what it's called, only that the outcome is the same: a permeating feeling of wrongness that washes over like a particularly strong wave.
This is the feeling he gets when looking at one Mona Megistus

Summary
It’s always a poor idea to fraternize with the Fatui like this. If you can call waking up tangled in another hotel’s sheets with one Fatui harbinger just ‘fraternizing.’ Mona deigns to call it that, if only to spare her dignity a stronger blow.
She keeps coming back all the same, drawn in the same way the tides are drawn by the moon. Or a vortex, maybe.
He reeks of danger, the Abyss clings to his clothes and his skin in a way that both intrigues her and makes her feel a little ill. The way he makes her skin buzz with curiosity is half the fun, even if it’s unnerving. He’s unnerving.

Summary
“Finally,” they say, oblivious to Illuga’s mental slip and subsequent panic, “Are you Captain Illuga?”
“Oh, you’ve heard of me?”
“Someone,” they say tightly through their teeth as their hand, which holds Flins’ delicate lantern, begins to shake with what Illuga can only describe as inconceivable amounts of anger, “can’t stop talking about you!”
“How long has he been like this?”
“Two days,” the Traveler tells him.
"I commend your sacrifice."
