“Thirty thousand and one dollars and fifty cents not to kill Any Rohrbach.” Dick calmly got out, hoping and praying that this would be enough to satisfy the mercenary.
There was a brief moment of silence before Slade let out a low, cold laugh. “Come on, Kid. Do you honestly think I’ll abandon a contract for one dollar and fifty cents extra?”
Damn it. He had a feeling Slade would say that. Alright, time for plan B.
