After the explosion Robert Robertson is faced with many life changes. He can no longer take scent blockers or suppressants, so he has to deal with everything that comes with being an omega. He needs a cane. His chronic pain is worse than ever before. He can't be Mecha Man. He has to change jobs. Shroud is a constant in his life. And, He has to fight off pack bond urges, because there is no way this rag team can possibly see him as a packmate... right? And his Dad's schemes only make things more complicated.

"Just one hint," Malevola pleaded. Prism leaned against her chair, eyeing Robert expectantly.
Robert stared at them briefly, deliberating over his response. He settled on honesty. They wouldn't believe him, and they wouldn't be able to link it to his identity as Mecha Man anyway.
"Sure. I can't die."
Prism sighed in frustration. "Oh come on! Don't be like that."

Summary
When Z-Team overhears a conversation between Robert and Phenomaman that they shouldn't have, they learn something alarming about their dispatcher. he hasn't had a heat in ten years! Robert doesn't understand why that's a problem. Heats aren't a big deal, he doesn't need them. His doctor, however, thinks it’s a very big deal and decide the best course of action is to force a heat to get him back on the right path.
Now Robert has three options: stay with Chase, stay with one of the Z-team or go to a heat house to ride out this forced heat. Can Z-Team prove they are worthy enough to help him through this?
