Summary
Horcruxes were always known to be unstable and creating more than one just adds to the problem. Nine years after attacking Harry Potter, Voldemort exhausts his magic as a wraith, but instead of fading away, his horcruxes merge together for him to live. Except for one stubborn piece, which stays within its human vessel and pulls the main soul towards it causing Voldemort to change, mentally and physically, to match the small soul piece to create a way for him to connect with the one and only Harry Potter.
Going from the feared Dark Lord Voldemort, back to the young Tom Riddle with suppressed memories. A lot changed, so how will everyone deal with it?

“Lan-er-gegeee?” he sweetly singsonged.
Lan Wangji, like he had been doing the entire afternoon, immediately looked at him upon being called. His eyebrows raised minimally as he took in Wei Wuxian’s appearance.
“How about this? Am I still nice to look at, Er-Gege? Do I look cute?” Wei Wuxian asked, sugary and nasally, as he twirled the end of one pigtail around his finger and batted his eyelashes.
The other didn’t miss a beat.
“Mn. Very cute,” Lan Wangji confirmed, not seeming flustered at all.
Wei Wuxian was starting to despair.
(Or: Lan Wangji discovers a method to find out if a flirtatious guy is being serious or just playing and decides to test it on Wei Wuxian. The method? Flirting back.)

Wei Ying slipped his backpack from his shoulders and slid into the seat across from him with a smile, leaning forward and resting his cheek on his palm in what he knew to be a cute gesture. Most alphas became wide-eyed and stupid when he did things like this.

At sixteen Wei Wuxian is—through some strange twist of fate, or a nick in the layer between parallel universes, who knows—out of the blue confronted with that one incense burner dream one night.
While his curious mind is left unable to stop poking at this new perspective on Lan Wangji, circumstances in the Cloud Recesses begin to change and Wei Wuxian is suddenly presented with life-altering opportunities.
Maybe Gusu isn’t so bad after all?
(Or alternatively: The fic where I get to give Wei Wuxian the academic scholarship he deserves while simultaneously getting him hitched early on.)
