Summary
“Young master,” Sebastian has the gall to say, “it’s not yet time.”
This demon doesn’t make any bloody sense. “What the fuck? Let me finish.”
Sebastian smiles. “No.”
Ciel blinks. “Shall I order you to do it?”
“If you must fall to such lows, young master,” Sebastian says with a sigh. “That would be rather unrefined, wouldn’t it? Just like your pleasure…”

Summary
There wasn't the slightest softness in that fine imposing face. Whatever emotions it might occasionally deign to show, empathy was not amongst them; only amusement, or bland boredom, or that strange keen side-glance that Ciel caught sometimes. Hunger, thought Ciel. That look was hunger, and in its rare small moments of revelation Ciel felt it pressing on his skin like sharp glass.
On the eve of St Valentine's Day, Ciel is faced with a challenge: presenting his affianced with a suitable expression of his affection.
But the boy has several problems.
He despises sentimentality. He isn't sure how he feels about the Lady Elizabeth. And he's just beginning to figure out exactly how he feels about the demon who will cost him his soul.
And exactly how the devious creature feels about him.Series

Summary
Rice Village said the sign, in faded, peeling letters. Behind the group of villagers was a fence of bamboo and further on, scattered minka—old, rural-style houses with thatched, gabled roofs. Front and centre was Naruto, wearing his trademark orange and a huge grin. Still boyish and round, he couldn't have been more than eighteen.
A rice farmer. Naruto was a rice farmer.
(Or, the AU where Sasuke returns after eight years away to discover that Konoha has changed, Naruto is a surprisingly adept rice farmer, and he have missed him a lot more than he thought.)

Summary
“He called me my Naruto,” he said.
“Did he? In the one I read, he signed off with “Ardently yours”.”
(Or, the day after his birthday, Naruto receives a burlap sack of hundreds of love letters that he was definitely not meant to read. Sasuke is either dead or dying—and he’s nowhere to be found. Not to worry, Naruto will find him. Again.)
