After being rescued from Lord Vile's grasp in the Leibniz Universe, Valkyrie is struggling to distinguish Skulduggery from Lord Vile. China sends them on an investigation in regards to people being puppeteered by shadows. The two arbiters work the case, as Valkyrie tries to pretend that nothing is different. We'll see where it goes from here.
