Peter Parker woke up burning and mournful and angry surrounded by a sky the color of concrete and buildings that towered over his bruised body. A damp pamphlet laid in front of him. "Welcome to Gotham"

This is my first fic and I have like no writing experience. I'm using my phone so the formatting might be weird but I really hope it isn't. Uh I don't know like anything about DC (sorry) but I'll do as much research as possible and I hate infrequent updates from people so I'll try as much as possible but I have a really busy schedule.

As he got closer, Peter realized there seemed to be blood on his hands. He was wearing a stained and ripped purple suit, with garish clown makeup making him look a ghastly white. His yellow teeth were stained with blood, reflecting off the dim light as stumbled down the alleyway. He was getting closer, and Peter made a split second decision.

Summary
Herman had never particularly liked his powers, despite wanting to be a hero for the majority of his life. He had always felt like a walking inconvenience to others. Puddles and pools left behind everywhere he went. Too wet in all the wrong ways to hold a lasting relationship, too self conscious and lacking the confidence to be the great man his Grandma always said he was. All Herman wanted, was to be useful. To live a normal life outside the wet mess he constantly was. Given the opportunity, Herman would put aside the alias of Waterboy to experience what it was like to be amongst normal people without the scrutiny that followed his every dripping step.
With enough money, he could do something about it.

The man who sent him to prison sat on his pedestal and bossed him around all day. The man who cut off his two fingers was in charge of his performance reports. The man who broke his tooth on the bar top led this boring weekly meeting.
Chad's eyes raised from the laminate table, lazily scanning the room before he rested his eyes on the man directly across the table from him. Not only was this man a blubbering lanky freak, but he also hosed him down with water the second time MechaMan ruined his life by sharing his identity. Waterboy. More like WaterBaby. He acted like some kind of lap dog to Robert, running to his feet at every call. Coming to his ‘rescue’ at the taco place as if he could actually stop Chad if he tried. It was pathetic. Even now, Herman sat across the table with his annoyingly wide eyes, nodding along to every bullshit word coming out of Robert’s mouth. What does he even see in that bitch anyways?
