“He really does look like Mike,” Lucas breathes, as he gives Mike’s twin a scan, head to toe.
“Yeah, if Mike were way hotter and a knight?” Max chips in, and Will can vaguely hear Mike muttering again. “He looks so medieval, like he’s from Camelot or some shit.”
“I am Michael,” the knight begins to plead again. He turns his doe eyes back to Will, returning to his side like a diligent guard, even going as far as to reach out and take his hands. “Please, you have to believe me. I would never lie to you. Have I ever broken our oath? Let me prove it.”
Will was a bit preoccupied with gazing into the knight’s eyes, his cheeks flushing under the intense stare and the way his hands were held so gently. Mike had no issues ruining their moment.
“And he’s weirdly obsessed with Will.” Mike sounds even angrier than he did in the woods, and his sharp tone is enough for Will to snap out of his hand-holding to step a respectable distance away from the knight. “We need to send him back to wherever he came from.”

Mike the Brave ends up in Hawkins and sweeps Will off his feet. Mike has a lot of Feelings™ about it.

Mike’s grin was crooked as he bent to kiss him. “I always wanted to wake up with you naked in my arms like this when I was an apprentice.”
“Ah,” Will realized with amusement, reaching back to thread his fingers into Mike’s unruly hair as his mouth moved along his neck, lazy and lingering. “So this is your fantasy.”

Summary
The party sets out to carry out the Order's mission and drive the mysterious cultists, who have been performing dark rituals, from the lands of the Misty Thicket. William the Wise, the cleric, urges caution and patience, but their leader, the paladin Sir Michael, charges headlong into battle – and takes a wound that nearly proves fatal. William manages to save his best friend's life, and in that moment, they both realize just how much they mean to each other.

Summary
The forest is viscous. Its creatures are cruel and unforgiving—especially under a full moon. Though, one creature in particular, a curious dryad had its eye on a strange being that trekked among the forest. It was a knight, who seemed to have strayed a long way from his kingdom. His armor looked of royal attire, and a big red heart on his back that implied an invitation for desire.

"Are you unharmed?"
Will trembled in the hold, his hands tentatively resting on the paladin's cloak. His eyes flick to Mike, then to the man holding him, his breath coming faster.
"W— I'm— what?"
The knight pulled back, only enough to see Will's face, loathe to let their bodies part. His brow furrowed in concern, looking at Will with such care it made his head spin.
"Are you unharmed, beloved?"
Mike asked before he got the chance to, but Will could hear the tension in his jaw when he spoke. "Beloved?"

When a rift opens from another reality, Will comes face to face with a fantastical version of Mike. Not only is he a knight from a realm he didn't know existed, but he is completely and utterly devoted to Will. Something that, for no clear reason, seems to agitate his world's Mike beyond reason.
In their efforts to return the paladin to his own realm, feelings and secrets are brought out of the shadow, and into the light.
Or, Sir Michael The Brave plays matchmaker for another realm's version of him and his William.
