Summary
They were on some roof during their rarely synced up night patrol eating their dinner in silence. Katsuki glanced at Izuku who was looking at the stars, or—rather what would be the stars if the smog would lift. He still looked so beautiful to Katsuki. Aging had embraced Izuku gently and not even the jagged pink scar tissue splitting a vertical line between his lips and ear could taint it. He wanted to reach out and see if he could still feel the impressions of freckles under the scar. He smiled, a light chuckle escaping at the thought and Izuku eagerly looked over “What? Do I have something on my face?” He frantically wiped at an imaginary mess.
Katsuki shook his head, his eyes reflecting the fondness he felt. “I love you.”

Summary
“Wait,” Suguru says in a rush, and Satoru just can’t help it anymore. He turns around, only to see Suguru very visibly hesitating about something, his movements jittery. There’s a look of relief that finds his face for a moment at Satoru’s eyes locking with his own, but it disappears so quickly it’s almost like it was never quite there in the first place. His shoulders deflate as he exhales, as if he’s preparing himself for a wildfire that may break out any second now. “I’ve missed you.”
“You–” he starts, his teeth gritting and jaw clenching. “Don’t say that.”
“I do.” Suguru insists, and he looks so visibly upset that Satoru would suggest otherwise, as if there isn’t several piles of evidence that could back up his suggestions – leaving without a trace, the ten years with no contact whatsoever, ignoring all of Satoru’s texts and pleading calls. “Not a day has gone by where I haven’t thought about you.”

That just makes Satoru miserable.
