    Strange things, fairytales. Legends of mythical creatures, morals wrapped up in a whimsical narrative, curses and punishments bestowed on the unlucky few. Yet, one inevitable truth is that everyone finds their soulmate, the one they are destined to be with.

    But Tony had seen what pain awaits soulmates, had learnt of its lessons straight from his mother’s lap. The constant tug and pull inside his chest to find his other half had been ignored for thirty years so far, he could ignore it for thirty more.

    When he meets a mysterious artist named Steve Rogers, who tells him a story about a group of immortals called the Eternals, forced to watch their soulmates die over and over only to be reincarnated again and again, Tony finds himself inexplicably drawn to him.

    ‘You’ve been hurt…much more than I realized. God, Tony, I wish I’d found you sooner, that I could’ve protected you from all those who-’

    ‘Why did you find me, Steve?’ Tony asked, getting to his feet, feeling the ground lurch.
