Summary
Sirius was lying in a pool of his own blood, preparing for death. Was there any way to prepare for something which you can’t possibly be ready for? Sirius wasn’t ready to die. At least, not until he told Remus how sorry he was, and how much he loved him.
Maybe Remus was his lifeline after all, the thing which kept him on Earth. Maybe, just maybe, Remus had the power to save Sirius Black, no matter how fucked up his life was.

"What? Yes, sorry, Im fine, I don't know why I did that, we can continue." he smiled, a bit unsure. Suddenly, all feelings from her came back.
"You don't look good, are you sure?" Regulus' voice was making him relaxed. It was troubled, sure, but hearing his voice was grounding.
"Im just.. Probably not in the mood, sorry. Im fine." His voice, the sudden tiredness in it has alarmed Regulus.

Sometimes, Regulus thought Potter was stalking him.
He had an uncanny - and disconcerting, really - habit of appearing from nowhere when Regulus hadn’t even told Barty where he was going, but it wasn’t too bad. At least if he was honest with himself.
