Summary

Ratio tried to process everything, Aventurine just pulled the stem off of the cherry like it meant nothing, then it placed it between his teeth. “It’s not that groundbreaking, is it? I mean,” His eyes watched as it kept poking between his lips, before he continued. “If I just do it for work, then who really cares if I finish or not.”
“But Gambler,” He could feel himself get grey hairs because of him, “You do it all the time. For work.”
Aventurine shrugged, “I don't think I'm missing out much. Like, don't get me wrong. I’ve gotten close a few times but why waste my own time, yaknow?” Right as he finished speaking Aventurine spit the tied cherry stem into his martini glass. “I wouldn't want it becoming a bad habit now, would I.”

Dr. Kreideprinz moves to the desk, picking up a notepad and pen and turning back to Kaeya in one fluid motion that leaves the ends of his lab coat fluttering in his wake. “You are aware of the study being performed today, correct?” Kaeya nods, to which Dr. Kreideprinz gives another one of his little smiles. “Your words, if you please, Mr. Alberich. I need to make sure that everything is okay.”
Kaeya feels his ears prickle with warmth and for Archon’s sake, this is getting annoying. “I’m aware.” He says with no small amount of strain.
Dr. Kreideprinz’s gaze is heavy. “And you are aware of all it entails?”
“I am.” Kaeya says, voice barely louder than a whisper.
Something akin to a fire lights within Dr. Kreideprinz’s eyes, and there’s a thick indulgence in his voice when he speaks, simply saying, “you may undress.”
