Summary
Akaashi jumps to his feet before either alpha can react. He doesn’t think, doesn’t care, just runs. He doesn’t bother stopping to put on shoes, knowing if he wastes any time his alphas will catch him. Some stupid instinctive part of him is thrilled at the idea of his alphas running after him, chasing him like some ancient mating dance. But they don’t want him, not now, not when he’s on the verge of heat.
He takes the flight two stairs at a time, not daring to wait for the elevator. When he makes it outside he doesn’t care which direction he goes, he just runs. He misses his nest even before he’s made it off the street, but he can’t go back there either. He can’t dare look at his nest, a structure he built so carefully, so lovingly, and thought his alphas actually liked- he’s not a masochist. He knows his mates wouldn’t turn him away fully, wouldn’t force him to spend his heat somewhere else. The idea of it though, it makes him nauseous.
He can’t spend his heat where he’s not wanted.

When Kuroo and Bokuto try to get Akaashi to suppress his heat, he runs off. When he gets into danger, he meets an omega ready to save him.

“Anyway, yer old man’s debt is 200 million yen, interest charges really fucked ‘em up in the past year,” Miya dared to laugh, “my boss wants the cash by the end of the week... but I’m willing ta give ya a month to gather it up. If not, ya can work it off with our other omegas.”
Kiyoomi made a noise that was of course muffled.
“How? Do ya know what a beautiful omega like ya would run fer?” Miya smirked as Kiyoomi felt the nausea churn in his stomach, “yer a smart man, Omi-kun, I’ve been watchin’ ya, I know ya can make this work under a little pressure.”
Miya gave his cheek a light slap as Kiyoomi didn’t have much space left to scoot away, “I’ll give ya a couple hours to think on it and you’ll tell me what ya got, kay darling?”
Kiyoomi snapped his eyes shut as Miya left, the hint of his citrus scent trailing in his wake. It wasn’t until the door shut and some minutes passed that Kiyoomi allowed himself to... to think about this predicament that his awful father forced him into.
Sakusa owes 200 million yen in debt and Atsumu is here to collect.
