“Shuddup”, Dallas said, but there was no bite to his word. The vodka got him feeling a good kind of tipsy that would have been even better if Johnny’s arm didn’t look like it went through a lawn mower. “Just let me do it.”

Summary
Dally comforts Johnny after a nasty run in with a group of Socs leaves him beaten and crying. He'd never be this soft for anyone but Johnny.
Johnny breaks down to Dally, allowing him to care for him, to see his scars and his issues with self–worth. He'd never trust anyone else this much but Dally.
