Ambitious mamas, rejoice! For Duke Verstappen, continues to grace our fair city with his presence. And, oh, what an impressive presence it is! It should be noted that his grace has been overheard announcing to mamas everywhere that he in actual fact does plan on re-entering the marriage market. The author wonders which brazen matchmaker shall rise to such a challenge, for this competition is well underway.
For those not in attendance at the Norris celebrations, you missed the remarkable coup of the season. It appears Mr. George Russel and the Duke have some underlying tension. Words were exchanged and glares reciprocated, leaving the ton surprised. For what possible explanation might Mr. Russel have for having a row at the duke? Could the young man perhaps be high in the instep? Let it be known, dear reader, that if this bizarre behaviour portends yet another scandal, then be sure that I shall uncover it. for there is nothing like an excursion into nature to lift the spirits and loosen the tongue.
