Summary
Just after dealing with Malekith, Thor returns to Asgard to tell his father (the "wise" king whose wisdom no one will ever surpass) that he would "rather be a good man than a great king." He doesn't get a chance to make this very interesting statement, as he is met with the discovery that Loki is not only alive again, but also a child of 250-300 years (or the equivalent of a 5-6 year old) who doesn't remember any of his life past that age.
I.e. Thor unintentionally volunteers to be his, now much younger, brother's dad for who knows how long even though Thor has no idea what a good father looks like. I had wanted to write something where Loki and Thor develop a healthier relationship and work through their issues, and then I rewatched Lilo and Stitch and got inspired.
I'm going to try to keep the characterization and whatever plot elements as true to mcu canon as I can manage. We'll see how that goes.

Fabulous.
Noteworthy quote(spoilers):
“Do you remember your history lessons about the Sith?”
“The Sith?” Qui-Gon went still.
“The Sith. Before they became extinct, they operated as a pair - a master and an apprentice. There were never more than two at a time. But we are Jedi. We take a very different approach; we have a whole Order, a community. That is because we are strong together. We share our lives, we keep each other accountable, and when this life is hard - because this life we have chosen, Padawan, it is hard - we have each other to hold us up. Not just the two of us. The whole Order. Do you see what I’m telling you?”
“I think so,” Qui-Gon bowed his head gravely. “Next time, I won’t try to do it all on my own.”

Part 1 has fabulous canon-accurate world building when it comes to life in the Temple and how the Jedi initiates interact with each other and the Knights and Masters. Also lots of great stuff about various planets etc that may not have been filled out in either canon or legends.
Part 2: more interesting world building with alien biology. Lots of great description of saberwork and forms. Lovely Jedi order familial relations. And sensible reworking of Legends stuff that didn’t fit with canon (aging out)
Appearances from little Shaak Ti and Mace 😭 and Qui-gon 💛

Summary
Part I: Under the Moon
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan crash land on an unknown planet. Stranded, cut off from the Jedi and with little hope of rescue, they make friends with some locals. However, survival is tough and there are many trials to face, as they struggle to find a way home. And the Force works very strangely here… especially for young Obi-Wan.
Part II: Under the Stars
With no sign of rescue coming for them, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan decide to remain with the Moon-Kin as they search out a way to either make their escape or call for help. But, life with their new friends is neither safe nor easy, and there are many challenges to overcome as they try to find a way to get home.
Part III: Under the Sun
Increasingly desperate to get home, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are forced to leave the Moon-Kin and venture into the burning heat of daylight. The Sun-Kin, however, are opposite to their Moon-Kin friends… in every way possible.
Part IV: Under the Force
Obi-Wan feels a calling in the Force to return to the planet of the Moon-Kin, only to find his friends facing a dire threat. It will take all of his power and more to save the Moon-Kin and their way of life… though at great cost to himself.

Really great long fic that’s not exactly a mission but they end up treating it as a mission (or what I’d imagine the less politics-heavy missions are.)
Qui-gon and Obi-wan are stranded on a planet for over a year, and though they are struggling to survive a lot of the time, they do their best to aid the locals, and end up making friends.

Summary
Jedi Master Dooku's brilliant plan to fool a bunch of potentially murderous politicians by pretending they are dealing with only one Jedi instead of two backfires when the wrong Jedi is correctly identified as one. Now he has to deal with the evidently murderous politicians while also trying to find his missing padawan before it is too late.
Meanwhile, Qui-Gon has problems of his own to deal with, most of which have to do with the giant beast that is clearly meant to eat him.
Also, the force is not with him right now, and he does not appreciate that one bit.Bookmarked by Writinthestars

Great characterization of Dooku and Qui-gon.
Qui-gon’s ability to resolve missions by accident because he listens to the Force 😌 -

Jango just wanted to be a good, caring son and bring his buir back something cool to study. That shouldn't be too hard, right?
So why was nothing going as planned?
